To support its Okanagan expansion, MarketVan operates a regional office in Vernon and is developing its e-commerce presence across Vernon, Kelowna and surrounding communities through regional marketing campaigns, collaboration with local and regional brands, promotional activities and customer-engagement initiatives.

Position Summary:
The Regional Marketing and Brand Coordinator will independently coordinate and implement MarketVan’s regional marketing activities across the Okanagan. The position will develop location-specific digital campaigns, coordinate promotional collaborations with local and regional brands featured on MarketVan’s e-commerce platform, organize community promotions, and analyze campaign and customer-engagement results.

Position: Regional Marketing and Brand Coordinator (NOC 11202)

Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent

Wage: $38.50 – $40.00 per hour (Depending on working experience)

Position Available: 1

Working Hours: 30 hours per week

Starting Date of Employment: As Soon As Possible

Benefits: 4 % vacation pay or 10 business days of paid vacation

Work Location: Suite F-3105 31 Avenue, Vernon, BC V1T 2G9

Regional Travel: Occasional travel within the Okanagan may be required for campaigns, events and partner meetings

Job Duties:

·         Analyze regional customers, e-commerce performance and market trends to identify marketing and brand-promotion opportunities in the Okanagan.

·         Develop and implement regional digital marketing strategies to promote MarketVan and attract customers across Vernon, Kelowna and surrounding communities.

·         Plan and monitor paid advertising, email campaigns and promotional landing pages using platforms such as Meta Ads and Google Ads.

·         Collaborate with Okanagan producers and regional brands on co-marketing campaigns, promotional content and brand features on MarketVan’s e-commerce platform.

·         Coordinate brand presentation across MarketVan’s website, social media, newsletters and seasonal campaigns to ensure consistent messaging.

·         Create promotional copy, blogs, newsletters, digital advertisements and campaign materials featuring Asian products, regional brands and seasonal promotions.

·         Manage regional social-media content, customer feedback and online engagement initiatives.

·         Coordinate regional events, community partnerships and cross-promotional activities to build brand awareness and e-commerce growth.

·         Monitor campaign performance using Google Analytics and advertising dashboards, prepare reports and recommend improvements.

·         Prepare regional press releases, promotional announcements, presentations and other marketing communications.

·         Collaborate with inventory, delivery and operations teams to align campaigns with product availability and regional service capacity.

Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.

·         Minimum 3 years of professional experience in marketing, digital marketing, e-commerce marketing, advertising or brand promotion.

·         Hands-on experience with ad platforms (Meta/Google Ads), Google Analytics, and content management systems is an asset.

·         Strong written and oral English communication skills, with proven project coordination and vendor/brand partnership experience.
