Position Title: Head Bartender
Terms of Employment: Full-time, Temporary
Estimated Starting Date: As Soon As Possible
Position Available: 1
Wage: $34.65 ~ $35.65 per hour (Depending on Working Experience)
Work Hours: average 30 hours per week
Benefits: 4 % Vacation Pay or 10 Business Days of Paid Vacation

Responsibility:
• Take drink orders from servers or directly from customers.
• Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and other drinks to guests or restaurant staff.
• Expertly mix and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Supervise and support bartenders and bar staff, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent customer service.
• Keep the bar area clean and ensure glassware is washed and ready for use.
• Monitor bar inventory, order supplies, and control stock to minimize waste and shortages.
• Manage cash transactions, process payments, and maintain accurate sales records.
• Enforce provincial/territorial liquor laws and company policies regarding alcohol service.
• Assist with hiring and evaluating staff performance to maintain an efficient bar operation.
• Address any problems at the bar area and customers’ complaints or concerns.

Qualification:
• Completion of secondary school is required;
• Responsible beverage service certification is required;
• Completion of college or other program in bartending or completion of courses in mixing drinks is asset;
• Minimum 1 year of bartending or food/beverage service experience in a fast-paced environment;
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and a great team player;
• Working knowledge of English.
