Job Description:
Child caregiver – private home position
Employer: Jungsun Hwang
Job Position: Child Caregiver – Private home, Full time, Permanent
Job Location: 995 Roche point dr suite 806 North Vancouver, BC V7H 2X4
Wage Rate and working hours: $19.00 per hour and 30~40 Hours per week

Main Duties
– Take full responsibility for the household when parents are away
– Care for children in a safe and nurturing home environment
– Keep the home clean and organized
– Follow parents’ guidelines for disciplining children
– Plan and engage the child in fun and educational activities
– Accompany the child to indoor and outdoor activities
– Provide homework assistance when needed and encourage independence
– Prepare and serve healthy meals and snacks
– Drop off and pick up children from school and activities

Qualifications:
– 6 month experience in child care OR Completion of a training program in child care
– High school completion or higher
– First Aid Certificate
– Able to communicate in English
– Able to drive children to and from activities
