We are a vibrant family-owned Canadian restaurant, serving up a wide variety of delicious foods including pizza, burgers, donairs, shawarma, Texas fried chicken, and more. Our restaurant offers dine-in, pickup, and delivery, with a play area available for family bookings. We are passionate about providing great food and service, and we are looking to expand our team with enthusiastic and dedicated Sous Chef.

Position Title: Sous Chef

Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent

Estimated Starting Date: As Soon As Possible

Position available: 1

Wage: $36.00 ~ $37.00 per hour (Depending on working Experience)

Work Hours: 30 hours per week

Benefit: 4 % Vacation Pay or 10 Business Days of Paid Vacation

Responsibility:

·         Lead and support kitchen staff during food preparation and service periods.

·         Prepare and oversee the production of menu items to ensure consistency and quality.

·         Provide on-the-job training to cooks on preparation methods, presentation standards, and safe food handling practices.

·         Assist with menu development and introduction of new dishes.

·         Monitor inventory levels and coordinate ordering of food and kitchen supplies.

·         Ensure compliance with sanitation, food safety, and workplace safety standards.

·         Inspect prepared dishes and kitchen operations to maintain quality standards.

·         Assist in scheduling and organizing daily kitchen activities.

Qualification:

·         Completion of secondary school is required;

·         3+ years of experience in commercial food preparation is required. An equivalent combination of culinary education, training, and related work experience may be accepted;

·         Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and a great team player;

·         Working knowledge of English is required
