Our hotel boasts 57 rooms with convenient outdoor entrances, ensuring easy access for our guests. Additionally, we offer free parking, on-site restaurants, and a meeting room. Currently, we are looking for a qualified Senior Food Service Supervisor to coordinate and supervise daily food service operations, establish staff work schedules, and ensure smooth restaurant operations within a high-volume hotel environment. The position works closely with management and plays a key role in overseeing overall food service operations.
Job Title: Senior Food Service Supervisor
Wage: $36.60 to $37.60 (depending on work experience)
Working Hours: 30 – 40 hours per week
Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent
Starting Date of Employment: As Soon As Possible

Job Duties:
· Supervise and coordinate food service operations in a high-volume hotel environment, ensuring efficient service delivery across multiple service periods and shifts;
· Oversee food preparation, portioning, and service to maintain consistent quality standards for both hotel guests and external customers;
· Develop, implement, and continuously improve work schedules, operational procedures, and service standards to support high-volume and fast-paced service;
· Monitor staff performance, provide training on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and take corrective action when necessary to maintain compliance with company policies and health regulations;
· Estimate, plan, and manage inventory levels, including ordering food ingredients and supplies based on occupancy levels, seasonal demand, and operational requirements;
· Analyze and maintain records of inventory, food costs, and wastage, and recommend cost-control strategies to improve operational efficiency and profitability;
· Act as a key point of contact between kitchen staff and senior management, including the director, by communicating operational needs, reporting performance outcomes, and proposing service improvements;
· Participate in hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation of food service staff, contributing to workforce planning and team development;
· Resolve customer complaints and operational issues in a timely and professional manner, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction;
· Ensure overall compliance with company standards, food safety regulations, and quality control requirements while maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Job Requirements:
Completion of secondary school is required;
Completion of a community college program in food service, hotel and restaurant management or a related discipline is a strong asset, but not mandatory.
Since we are looking for an experienced Food Service Supervisor, at least 3 to 5 years of direct work experience as a Food Service Supervisor is required.
Working knowledge of English is required.
