As we plan to expand further to the Norther region of BC, we are looking for two painting supervisors to join the team in the Vancouver region to provide strong leadership and oversight as our team continues to grow, ensuring high-quality results across residential and commercial projects.

Job Position: Painting Supervisor – Construction

Term of Employment: Full-time, Permanent   

Hourly Wage: $38.00 – $40.00 per hour (depending on qualification and work experience)

Working Hours: 30-40 hours per week (available early morning, evening or weekends)

Work Location:

·         Unit 4 – 1233 Kingsway, Vancouver, BC, V5V 3E2 (Our Business Location);

·         Will be working at various residential / commercial locations (Client’s locations) within Metro Vancouver area, British Columbia

Start Date of Employment: As soon as possible

Benefits: 10 Business Days Paid Vacation or 4 % Vacation Pay 

Job Duties:

·         Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the work of painters and related construction workers involved in finishing residential and commercial projects;

·         Order and manage the supply of paints, coatings, tools, and related materials required for project completion;

·         Identify jobsite issues and implement solutions to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality of finishes;

·         Prepare and maintain reports on work progress and project status;

·         Plan work methods to meet project timelines and coordinate painting activities with the construction team and other subcontractors;

·         Participate in hiring decisions and provide recommendations regarding employee performance and promotions;

·         Train crew members in job tasks, proper painting techniques, safety practices, and company policies;

·         Oversee daily operations of assigned projects and ensure work is completed according to company and client standards.

Qualification: 

·         Completion of secondary school is required;

·         At least 3 years of experience in the trade or in the work area supervised is required;

·         Available early morning, evening or weekends;

·         A driver’s license is an asset but not mandatory;

·         Great leadership, time management, teamwork, stress management skills;

·         Working knowledge of English.
