Aera Moon Pharmacy Ltd o/a Shoppers Drug Mart in Vernon, BC is seeking a dedicated, positive, and self-motivated Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will supervise and coordinate front-store retail staff, support efficient daily store operations, and help maintain a high standard of customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Work Location: 3417 31 Ave, Vernon, BC V1T 2H6

Position: Retail Store Supervisor (NOC 62010)

Wage: $25.00 per hour

Working Hours: 30~40 hours per week

Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent

Starting Date of Employment: As Soon As Possible

Position Available: 1

Benefits: 4% vacation pay or 2 weeks paid vacation per year

Responsibility:

·       Supervise and coordinate the activities of front-store sales staff, cashiers, and shelf stockers.

·       Assign duties to staff and prepare work schedules to ensure adequate store coverage.

·       Train new employees on store procedures, customer service, merchandising, and point-of-sale procedures.

·       Authorize merchandise returns and exchanges and resolve customer inquiries and complaints.

·       Monitor inventory levels and coordinate the ordering, receiving, and replenishment of merchandise.

·       Ensure products are properly stocked, priced, displayed, and that store presentation standards are maintained.

·       Prepare routine reports related to sales, inventory, merchandising, and staff activities.

·       Perform opening and closing duties, key-holding responsibilities, and assist front-store staff as required.

Job Requirements:

·        Completion of secondary school is required.

·        At least +2 year of previous retail sales or customer service experience is required.

·        Strong organizational, communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills are required.

·        Ability to supervise staff, coordinate daily retail operations, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment is required.
