Sakura Sushi, Williams Lake’s top restaurant for Asian cuisine, is seeking motivated and team-oriented a Food Service Supervisor.
Work Location: 770 Oliver Street, Williams Lake, BC V2G 1N1
Position Title: Food Service Supervisor
Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent
Estimated Starting Date: As Soon As Possible
Position Available: 01
Wage: $22.00 per hour
Work Hours: 30 ~ 40 hours per week
Benefits: 4% Vacation Pay or 10 Business Days of Paid Vacation
Responsibility:
· Train, supervise, and support in-house staff, and prepare and maintain employee work schedules.
· Assist the Restaurant Manager in estimating and ordering raw fish, vegetables, other food ingredients, and kitchen supplies to support daily food preparation.
· Ensure all restaurant policies, procedures, and operational standards are consistently followed and implemented.
· Work collaboratively with the team to ensure every customer visiting Sakura Sushi is fully satisfied with both the quality of the food and the service.
· Address and resolve customer and staff complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
Qualification:
· Completion of secondary school is required.
· Completion of a community college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management or related discipline OR at least 2 years of experience in food service industry including at least 1 year of supervisory experience is required.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be a great team player.
· Working knowledge of English.
