Bear Country Inn Ltd., also known as Bear Country Inn, is located in the downtown area of Terrace. We strive to provide a luxurious experience at an affordable price, catering to both business and leisure travelers. Our hotel boasts 57 rooms with convenient outdoor entrances, ensuring easy access for our guests. Additionally, we offer free parking services, on-site restaurants, and a meeting room. Currently, we are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Office Administrator to play a key role in driving our daily operations and ensuring the organization runs efficiently and seamlessly.
Job Title: Office Administrator
Wage: $36.00 – $38.00 per hour (Depending on Working Experience)
Working Hours: 30-40 hours per week
Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent
Starting Date of Employment: As Soon As Possible
Position Available: 1
Benefit: 4% vacation pay
Working Location: 4702 Lakelse Ave, Terrace, B.C., V8G 1R6
Job Duties:
• Manage and coordinate overall administrative duties, including invoicing, contracts, equipment logistics, and procurement activities for Bear Country Inn Ltd..
• Plan, organize, oversee, and develop administrative policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and ensure compliance.
• Collect, analyze, and submit relevant data and monthly/weekly reports to the Employer.
• Coordinate priorities, distribute daily duties to office staff, and supervise task completion in accordance with deadlines and office procedures.
• Assist the employer with setting the operational budget and maintaining budget control.
• Arrange and negotiate the purchase of office supplies, furniture, office equipment, office security service, etc., following company purchasing policies and operational budget.
• Coordinate and evaluate administrative services, including records management, office systems, and internal communications to ensure efficient operations.
• Ensure full compliance with all applicable licensing, safety, and hospitality regulations for operations at Bear Country Inn Ltd..
• Oversee post-renovation facility operations and evaluate the effectiveness of promotional activities, including maintenance programs, service contracts, and recommendations to improve business performance.
Job Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school is required;
• A university degree or college diploma in business or public administration, or related field is required;
• At least 3 years of work experience in a senior clerical or executive secretarial position related to office administration is required;
• Strong organizational and time management skills;
• Knowledge of budgeting and cost control will be an asset.
