Gratia Bakery & Café (Maple Ridge Location) is located in the heart of the downtown Maple Ridge community, with views of the iconic Blanshard Peak in Golden Ears. Gratia Bakery & Café is a popular gathering place for locals, offering quality coffee, fresh pastries, and delicious food in a welcoming environment. With two café locations supported by a centralized kitchen, since we are supplying our products to local café & retail stores, currently, we are looking for an experience full-time (Senior) Supply Chain Supervisor to join our team. This role will help ensure smooth operations across locations, oversee supply chain and inventory management, and support our vision of providing high-quality products and great customer experience.

Work Location: 22225 Dewdney Trunk Road, Maple Ridge, BC V2X 3H8 (may require visit other locations in lower mainland occasionally)

Position Title: Supply Chain Supervisor

Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent

Estimated Starting Date: As Soon As Possible

Position Available: 1

Wage: $37.00 – $40.00 per hour (Depending on Working Experience)

Working Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week (including early morning, and weekend)

Benefit: 10 business days paid vacation or 4 % vacation pay

Job Duties:  

·         Supervise and coordinate staff responsible for inventory tracking, order processing, and distribution of baked goods from the centralized kitchen to retail locations and online fulfillment.

·         Plan and oversee production schedules based on sales data from retail stores and online channels to ensure sufficient product availability.

·         Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished products and coordinate replenishment to maintain optimal stock levels.

·         Manage centralized purchasing activities, maintain communication with suppliers, and ensure timely delivery of ingredients and materials.

·         Establish and maintain inventory control procedures to synchronize stock across retail stores and online channels.

·         Identify and resolve supply chain issues, such as delivery delays, stock discrepancies, or production scheduling conflicts, and implement corrective actions.

·         Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and safety standards related to inventory, purchasing, and distribution.

·         Train and supervise staff involved in inventory control, order coordination, and supply chain operations.

Qualifications:

·         Completion of a post-secondary education program of 2–3 years in Business, Supply Chain, Production, or Manufacturing Management, or a related field is required;

·         Since this is a senior level Supervisor Position, we require at least 3+ years of work experience as Supply Chain Supervisor is required.

·         Previous experience in café, bakery, or food service operations is an asset, but not mandatory.

·         Goal-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and a team player.

·         Must be able to work in English

·         Reliable own transportation is required.
