JOB DETAILS
Workplace information: On site – Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Salary: $25.00 hourly for 30 to 40 hours per week

Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time

Employment conditions: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Early Morning, Morning

Start: As soon as possible

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Languages: English

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma

Experience: Will train

Work site environment: Organic farming, Other grain farming, Dusty, Noisy

Work setting: Rural area, Remote location

Specific Tasks/Responsibilities:
• Harvesting seedlings/crops.
• Cleaning grains, oil seeds, and pulses.
• Examine product for quality and its readiness for the market.
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
• Pack grains, seeds and pulses.
• Load, unload and transfer pallets, supplies and packaged grains.
• Assist with general farm maintenance and maintenance of equipment and tools.
• Clear and collect brush and debris from around the buildings and grain storage bin and other work areas.
• Clean up racks, trays, processing equipment and harvest bins and general clean up of grain receiving areas, grain processing areas and grain packaging and loading areas.
• Clean work area.
• Write daily basic progress reports.

EXPERIENCE AND SPECIALIZATION
Equipment and machinery experience: Tractor

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently, Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Hand-eye co-ordination, Ability to distinguish between colours, Standing for extended periods, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Sitting, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Walking
