Position Summary:
As a Marketing Coordinator, you will support the development and execution of the company’s marketing activities, including digital campaigns, social media, content creation, and promotional initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to increase brand awareness, engage customers, and help drive growth while promoting the vibrant tastes and culture of Korea.

Position: Marketing Coordinator
Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent
Wage: $36.60 – $38.60 per hour (Depending on working experience)
Position Available: 1
Working Hours: 30 hours per week
Starting Date of Employment: As Soon As Possible
Benefits: 4 % vacation pay or 10 business days of paid vacation
Work Location: 101-1206 Ridgeway Ave, Coquitlam, BC, V3J 1S9

Job Duties:
• Analyze product offerings and target audience characteristics to determine marketing and advertising needs specific to MarketVan.
• Provide recommendations on strategies for digital marketing, advertising, and promotional campaigns to enhance online visibility and sales.
• Create and implement direct and digital marketing strategies, including content creation for email campaigns, social media, and paid advertisements.
• Monitor and analyze post-campaign performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of marketing efforts and inform future strategies.
• Manage social media platforms, including curating content, engaging with audiences, and addressing customer reviews or feedback
• Prepare marketing collateral such as press releases, blogs, newsletters, and website updates to communicate key messages effectively
• Plan and coordinate online events, promotional campaigns, and seasonal sales to drive engagement and boost revenue.

Qualifications:
• A university degree or college diploma in business marketing, public relations, communications, journalism, museology or a discipline related to a particular subject matter is usually required.
• Previous work experience in marketing, communications, public relations, or related operational roles, especially in e-commerce, is preferred but not mandatory.
• Working knowledge of English;
• Strong team-oriented and problem–solving skills;
• Great communication and prioritisation skills.
